On the event of World No Tobacco Day, observed annually on May 31st by the World Health Organization and its global partners. The Department of Public health dentistry conducted a screening and awareness camp at a rehabilitation facility for patients with Alcohol, drugs and substance addiction. This was done to to highlight and reinforce the harmful and fatal effects of tobacco use and exposure to second-hand smoke, as well as to discourage the consumption of tobacco & other substances in any form.
