The Department of Public Health Dentistry, Madha Dental College and Hospital observed World No Tobacco Day 2024 by conducting various programmes from 25.05.24 to 01.06.2024. Awareness talks and distribution of pamphlets was done at various locations to create awareness about the ill effects and dangers of tobacco usage. Screening camps were conducted to assess the oral health of tobacco users. The students of MIET college were motivated to pledge to No Tobacco Use. A Flashmob was done at Anna Nagar Tower Park, malls and metro stations in association with Adyar Cancer Institute.
