The Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Madha Dental College and Hospital has conducted a table clinic events in commemoration of World Oral Health Day on 20th March 2025. The theme of the event was ‘A HAPPY MOUTH…IS A HAPPY MIND’ and the core concept behind the event was to bring an awareness among the patients attending the O.P regarding various facets of oral health. The under graduates presented table clinics to bring awareness among the patients regarding dietary habits and food patterns among children and adults to improve oral health and reduce dental caries. Proper brushing techniques were demonstrated to the patients using three dimensional models. The Post graduates explained regarding the ill-effects of smoking and smokeless tobacco on the oral cavity and their deleterious consequences affecting the overall quality of life among the patients. On the whole, the event was focused on enlightening the patients about the importance of oral health and its influence on overall health and the event succeeded in attaining it’s goal in an effective manner.
